Seed library
Seed library is an institution that stores, lends, exchange and shares naturally produced seeds with an intention to preserve the germ plasm through propagation. A seed library can save biodiversity of a particular area. Seed library is different from the seed bank. A seed library stores seed for short period of time and the preservation of germplasm is maintained through propagation whereas a seed bank is used to store seeds for longer period of time.
